How long does a revvi 12 inch battery last?

This is a one of the questions we get asked the most I would say, so I wanted to try answer the question the best I can for each bike in the Revvi range, Firstly by giving the factory recommendation on how long a revvi battery could last verus some real world battery life examples I have experience of my own.

Suitable for ages 3-6 the revvi 12 inch comes with a 24v 2.6ah Lithium battery which can be removed and replaced with a spare or for ease of charging.

Charge Time is 2-3 hours to 100%

Ride Time in the slowest speed mode (5 mph) is 1 hour 15 minutes and in the faster speed mode (10 mph) the ride time is 40 minutes.

In my experience these are pretty accurate and always been surprised at how long they last when out for a ride or walking on the weekend.

We have completed 3 miles walks on relatively flat paths and got back to the car and the battery would be still showing 3 full green lights on battery gauge. but then we would go and do a 3 mile bike ride on the same route and come back to only having 2 green bars left, the constant speed is a factor in how fast the battery is going to drain.

One factor I did find that changes the amount of ride time is riding on different terrain's, mainly long wet grass and muddy the conditions were where the Battery drained quicker compared to riding on a nice path in the woods. Now when I say these scenarios affected the ride time i not talking massively but just enough to notice.

Along with different terrain's the weight of the rider is going to affect ride time.

One of the best features of the revvi range is the ability to remove the battery, meaning that you have the option to purchase a spare battery if needed.

Another well thought out feature with the Revvi 12 inch is that you can use the bigger battery from the 16 inch and or the 16inch Plus. meaning you can use either the 24v 5.2ah and 24v 6.4ah battery in the revvi 12 inch and dramatically add to the ride time of the 12 inch Revvi.
